Basically, Pineapple Poker and its baby, Crazy Pineapple Poker, are very similar to Texas Hold ‘em. However, the clue of this game lies in a small trick which gives many possibilities to play the game, such as the players must put back one card at a certain part of the game. Pineapple Poker is different from poker in that each player is dealt three cards instead of two to make up a hand. The players must now make their bets and show the flop, similar to Texas Hold’em. The rules of Texas Hold’em are used to play Pineapple Poker, except that the third card is discarded here.
Its similarity with Texas Hold ‘em lies in its using a three-card flop, a fourth and then a fifth boardcard.
How to play Pineapple Poker: To begin, put the blinds before the game can begin. The big hand should be placed by the player to the dealer’s left, while the player on the dealer’s left should place a small blind. Each player should deal three cards face down. These cards are each player’s hole cards. Players should look at these cards and see just how strong his hand is.
This begins the betting round. The first person to act is the one on the left of the player who played the big blind. He can either place a bet now or check. Betting goes on until everyone all players have placed equal amounts into the pot. Next, players must lay down the flop which comprises three community cards dealt face up in the centre of the table.
Now, all players must get rid of one FullTiltPoker hole card. The game continues just as you would play Texas Hold ‘em. The betting is similar to Texas Hold’em. When the time comes to show one’s cards, a player can use his remaining two cards in any combination along with the board cards. If a player still has three cards in hands at the end of the game, he has a dead hand.

· Aces, though valuable cards in Texas Hold’em, aren’t half as valuable in Pineapple Poker. So, don’t overrate them.
· Don’t presuppose that because you’re good at Texas Hold’em, which is similar to Pineapple on party poker, automatically you’d be good at this latter game too. You have to navigate through the differences between these two games.
